I really like your slideshow, and as someone mentioned in class, I like how you have ordered them to illustrate where these kids live and what they call home.
You said yesterday that when you talked to the kids they wanted to come to America, but that you realized they were pretty happy where they were and that they would probably feel out of place if they did. I thought it would have been interesting if you had tried to illustrate this point in your slideshow, too.
I feel that the contrast between the urban streets of NY and the Very Dry Cricket pitch could make the pictures and the children’s sense of ‘home’ even more powerful.
